Happy Valentines from MacGuffin and Cheese!

Well folks, that time of year has come again. The RomComs are coming, the tear-jerkers are lining up. It's Valentine's Day, of course. So, I've decided to commemorate the day by gifting all of you with a wonderful little blog post. (Now you can't say nobody did anything for you for Valentine's!) but the question I've been asking myself for the past hour is, just what shall I write?

Now, I could post something all lovey-dovey and soppy, talking about my favourite love-stories  and RomComs for you loved up couples out there... or I could write something containing all sorts of bitterness and anti-Valentine statements whilst recommending movies that go against Valentine's Day for those of you who see today as 'Singles Awareness Day' (You're getting no prizes for guessing that it would include teen-slasher 'Valentine' or even 3D teen-slasher 'My Bloody Valentine', by the way). But I'm split on whose side to back? Couples or Singles?

Well, after thinking long and hard about it, I'm not going to do either of those things.

Instead, I'm just going to share with you one of my favourite movie moments, that I find perfectly fitting for Valentine's Day whether you're single or not. It's February the 14th, it's cold outside, but it's getting hot indoors! So whether you're a lonely singleton, if you can't be with your partner tonight or even if you're one of the lucky ones having a bit of fun... when everyone is underneath the sheets with their other half tonight, my heart goes out to you all and I hope you all do as Amelie does:
